Since I’m weepy roid girl today, I guess I can do a Love Thursday post and take Carole’s lead (and Margene’s and all the other wonderful women out there) and revamp it for the month.
And we’re off:
Today, I’m thankful for:
1. A wonderful friend who knit me this beauty that has become my shawl of comfort whenever I have to do anything icky. Hospitals, doctors, taking people to the airport. I love this shawl with all of my heart. (yeah, I totally need a better picture of it) It went with me for the infusion this week.

2. Friends, online and IRL who get the roid rage girl and let me vent and make me laugh at the insanity of it all.
3. Thankful that the rain has stopped for a little while. Seriously? It pretty much rained non stop since the beginning of September.
4. Thankful that my mother has limits and boundries and can totally be there when I need her, but not be overbearing- even if she does sneak off when she’s had too much of the roid girl.
5. Access to top of the line doctors. One saved my arm in California and one may save a whole bunch more here in Texas.
6. Following Margene’s lead… for all the complaining I do about what I pay for my health insurance, I have it. And it is good. And I couldn’t imagine trying to get my health in order and figured out without it.
7. Neighbors who do this for halloween:
Wait for the closeup of his pants:
I love my life today.
Happy Thursday Peeps!

Is that Skinny Porkchop and Big Sausage?!
Are we sure we want to call those pants? ;^)
I love it when you’re all squishy and am thankful that you found me and my stupid blogs all those years ago. (It was like a million years ago, right?)

Always good to have good health coverage and care providers to be thankful for!
Those, er, “pants” on the other hand? Ahem. ;^)

Yay for good doctors! And neighbors who (hopefully) dress like that for Halloween.
OTOH, what is with all this frakkin’ thankfulness? It’s making me queasy.

Excellent costumes! Lots of squishiness. Too scary if I think about it. I’m very glad you have super good doctors, a good mom, marvelous neighbors, good friends, and all that stuff.

When I first looked at the costume picture, I thought she had a candle on her head… (At second look, I think it’s the porch light.)
Hugs to you and your doctors.
