Since our Carrie couldn’t handle angry ‘roid girl and “sweetness and light” Cookie, I’m going to try to bring some Squish back up in here. Lovely sky and leaves changing and all that.
I do have to say it may be the perfect autumn day.
I have chicken and dumplings on the stove cooking away and have found myself on the deck several times just getting some fresh air, reading, occasionally knitting a row or two and napping.
Whilst avoiding falling hickory nuts and bunches of acorns and listening to angry young cat squirrels. I was thinking I might go all Vlad on the little bastids and set up little squirrel kabobs to keep the annoying things away.
Wait. This is happy Squish today. Sorry.
Look, more happy sky!
I will not think about what that lovely tree is currently dropping in the yard or the fact that the little man who was doing stuff for me moved in with his little SoBap ho because his electric was turned off and it was too important for him to buy drugs than pay for his electric and is no longer around to do yard things for me.
Nope. Not me. Happy. Squishy. Fine.
Happy Saturday y’all!
xoxo

Pretteh colored leaves. Ours are essentially gone save a few. I’m glad you haven’t gone all “Vlad” on the squirrels. Too messy….

Chicken and dumplings! Yay! That will make everything better.

Those are gorgeous skies/trees.
People. They have the weirdest priorities.
Chicken & dumplings will definitely cure what ails you.

The Squish is back!
Well mostly.
Keep napping and knitting and sitting, it’ll do you good.
And when that fails, go clean something.

Pretty leaves, even when we know they will eventually have to be raked! Aktcherly squirrel kebobs might be tasty, though the pieces would necessarily be pretty small

Those things falling into your yard travel great distances when thrown.. I bet they would even cause pain.
Just sayin’!

Lovely photos and I definitely see the squish working to be dominant. Bummer about the lawn guy! I hope you find a good replacement.
