As some of you noticed on my last post, the Skinny Porchop aka Mrs. Meat did find teh blog. Well, her crazy happy Christmas decorating ass sweet self decided to get some revenge for my pilfering of a itsy-bitsy tiny-weenie decoration or two. Just because I iz a Yankee and am really not into decorating for Christmas this year *cough*andmayhavemadejokeatherdecoratingsoearly*cough* she defiled… DEFILED!!! my mailbox.
Little does she know that now, it is time to play. Oh, how I love these games! She does not know the depths of the Evil Stacey. I have been humming Christmas carols since she did this… planning, plotting and designing her demise.

Yes, it is after midnight and I am still awake. I had to make a trip to town and discovered that the Magical Green Mermaid (who I am now theorizing may be the second coming of Christ) is now selling caramel brulee lattes.
Dooooooode.
Plus there’s some other schtuff happening that is impeding my sleep, but we’re not talking about that right now.

Hey! Look over there! An effin’ oh!
Yes, it’s true.
- Start: June 21, 2008 (B.T)
- Finish: November 15, 2009
- Pattern: Los Monos Locos with Cookie Cutter toes and heels.
- Needles: KnitPicks circs US2
- Yarn: Yarntini Variegated Wool/Tencel in Refresh!
Taken with my cell phone because a.) after midnight and b) not gonna get a picture any other way.
Never, never, never doing another pair of monkeys. Swears. I am sooo bored with the pattern now. Although I could do it in my sleep.
Yeah, that’s a whole whoppin’ 3 FO’s for the year and 5 since I met Texas. Sad.

Happy Tuesday y’all!

Please keep your camera ready at all times. This is going to get interesting…
You were up late making assault ornaments, right?
Nice socks!

I see a series of posts devoted to the deco wars! Should be fun. Pulling up my chair for a front row seat. Love your Monkeys!
#6 by Anne on November 17, 2009 - 7:55 am
I’m pulling my chair up next to Manise’s, and bringing beer to share, plus a throw blanket in case it gets chilly.
You might be tired of Monkeys, but your Effin Oh has inspired me to cast on another pair. Of course, not until after the current sock and sweater are done!

I’m right there with Anne and Manise, I’ll bring chips and dip for the group. I was gonna make oatmeal cookies but I don’t know how they’d go with Anne’s beer.
Let the wars begin!

I do love that pork chop. Get ‘er, Skinny PC! WOOOHOOOO! (BTW, if you have any of those illuminated blow up snowmen or santas (or nativity scenes!) you’ll win, hands down.)

As a matter of fact, I have the big blow up snow globe with animated snowmens……….I think it will look lovely on her ROOF.

I love the skinny pc, too!! This is going to be fun. Besides, beer and oatmeal cookies aren’t so bad together. I’ll bring the chex mix along with my lawn chair.
Love the socks! Texas keeps you busy, doesn’t he?

That caramel brulee latte sounds so wonderful.
The Monkeys are cute. I never could make myself finish a pair of those.

You knit?
No lights on the mailbox? WTF?!
Why do I have a sudden desire to see what kind of x-mas crap I have in the garage? *L*
