Duck Soup!
Sep 4th, 2012 by Stacey
Sid and Nancy are our Cayuga ducks (We added another girl, Rockets this weekend so Nancy would have some time off. If you catch my meaning) They have to be some of the most beautiful ducks with greens and blues and purples showing up in their black feathers, depending upon how the sun hits.
Just ignore the bossy goose and Khaki who wandered into the picture. And remind me to get a picture of Sid’s poof. Anywho, they were the inspiration for this:
- Pattern: Duck Soup
- Yarn: Noro Aya
- Start: 7/28/12
- Finish: 8/31/12
- Needles: US 7
It was an easy, mindless pattern. Life demanded it and Texas bought the pattern for me. (and a bunch of others from the same designer)
Tomorrow, chickens! Maybe
Happy Tuesday y’all!

Only you would have a nymphoduck. Pretty scarf!
I want mallards!
Love the names — Sid and Nancy live on!
Pretty scarf and lovely ducks.
I wonder if you could collect their feathers and spin them into some yarns.

Pretty ducks!
What a perfect pattern to go along with all of your many ducks and soon ducklings, if I am to understand what is happening. I hope there is some weather to allow you to wear it! xo
