Knitting with Cat
Sep 6th, 2012 by Stacey

This is Obi. As in Obi One. Because his parents thought he only had one ding-a-ling instead of two. He’s helping me knit while I’m in Nacogdoches getting some R&R.
And acting as Truffle’s wife for the day. O.o
Her hubby is in Nawlins for the storm cleanup and she’s running the business at home. We both needed a little destress time, so it worked out perfectly.
I’m baking a fritatta for dinner with some of our farm fresh eggs. Oh, and of course tossing her stash and doing some nice, mindless knitting for others.
What are you doing today?
Wouldn’t that make you the husband?
I’m hiding from a sock and recovering from a trip to the lab.
Sweet Obi!
I’m enjoying the cooler weather this Saturday, doing chores, preparing avocado chicken salad for a family reunion-ish on Sunday, and trying not to be too sad about missing Wis Sheep & Wool this weekend.
I hope you are getting all of the R&R you need and enjoying the mindless knits.
Me? I’m trying to weave dishtowels (1 of 4 woven, warped for all four at once), have a sock to work on, and considering Color Affection. In the meantime, I have painted my nails, so typing away is about the only thing I can do as I watch Days of Our Lives. xoxoxo
