Small town nights

I convinced Texas to take me to homecoming. Yeah. Um. I don’t know either.  It was the first time he had been back since he graduated. In 1997. God, that makes me feel old.

It was ok. They had a raffle:

For guns!?!?

At a high school football game.  Yeah.  Sooooo. We bought a ticket. I’m kind of hopiing we win the trailer so we can haul more livestock and stuff.  Somebody wants a Winchester, but then they’d be forced to cross state lines to get it.

Taking school spirit a little too far?  Yes, that is the toilet paper holder in the bathrooms.  The soap dispensers and the paper towel holders were coordinating.

I was not impressed.  We did it better back East.  I was told I needed to go to a bigger small-town game.

In other news, I got nothing but a sore neck, a couple more owls and a hankering for chewy Spree.

Happy Monday y’all!

As long as you didn’t get MONO at homecoming, it was a win.

1997? You don’t want to know how old that makes ME feel.

Yikes, I was out of college by then…

I hope you win the trailer. I’m impressed that the restrooms were stocked with tp, soap, and paper towels.

    Yay, Owls! xo
