In like a goat?

Moo has some new girlfriends. Did I mention that Texas also brought home Mr. Jeremy for the geese? He better live up to his name. And if this morning is any indication, we should be able to hatch some babies this spring. Let’s just say that Forrest was not amused. Yes, Forrest is a girl goose.
We had some issues with our incubator, so we’re keeping the 4 chicks that hatched this week. Little, yellow puffs of fluff. As soon as I can get a picture away from the heat lamp, I’ll share.
If the rooster has done his job, (and if Texas has figured out his stuff) we’ll have 42 to sell next month. Along with 42 ducklings. They should all hatch within three days of First Monday, so not too much stress for me.
Farm life is never dull.
In CMMDI news, I have 3.5 of 16 squares done for the first origami thing. I’ll be stupid-vising the fencing of the new goat paddock this afternoon, so I should be able to crank out quite a few.
I do love sitting in the back of a pickup, on a sunny day, knitting while he works.
Just sayin’
Happy Sunday y’all!

Spring is here! Babies and fence building.
So you are doing squares and not one long thing? I’ll be interested to see how it goes. I’m at the point of needing to take photos of my latest Nola slipper.
Cute little goats! And you got that right…farming is never dull…especially when you have animals.
Happy knitting and fence production watching!
Goodness, those are cuties. Oh, you are way ahead of me, but I’ll pick up my needles in a minute (or so).
Is there goat milk in your future? /runs
42, they’re small, right? I would probably be ridiculous and sit to watch all the hatching.
Have a lovely afternoon in your pick-up.
The goatie-girls are SO cute – good luck with keeping them fenced in! Can’t wait to see the hatchlings
And knitting and supervising sounds just perfect!
Hmmm. Origami. 16 squares. I’m gonna guess slippers.
Yeah, we’re going to need video of bouncing goat babies.
Yay, babies! Also, yay for selling them!
Wha? I thought this month was a curved shawl thing, or did I dream that? Oh, well, I’ll figure it out or I won’t. xoxo
