Family vacation

We went camping at Mustang Creek October 7 the through the 9th. It was the first time nighttime temperatures dipped into the 50’s this fall. And the only fall like temperatures we’ve had. It has been in the 80’s all day since then. I can’t wait for our next trip.

Yes, there is even a picture of some knitting in there. It was hopefully for my swap partner, but shit happens and I haven’t picked it up since.

Did I mention I put the tent up all by myself?

Happy Thursday y’all!

  1. You’re a braver woman than I. My family was big into camping when I was a kid. I am definitely a ‘proper bed/walls/indoor plumbing’ kind of person. I like fishing, as long as I don’t have to bait the hook or deal with the catch.

Looks like you had a blast! Hope you enjoy cooler temps soon.

  2. That looks like a fun trip! Maybe if you go camping again you can bring fall back? Please? I remember those few moments when it felt like fall. I tell ya, weather like this at this point in the year is making me feel like I’m ridiculous for knitting. Still, sometimes it’s the gorgeous little things like that yarn and pattern you gave me, or your cute bag that keep the needles going.

I was going to weave for my swap-ner, but then waiting for the right colors, life, something else on the loom, and then it was mailing time. Guess that part of the parcel wasn’t meant to be, eh? xoxoxox
