I would do a WIP update, but since I returned from L.A. I’ve been busying myself with doing stuff around the love shack. And you don’t need to see a picture of a sock with two more pattern rounds done.

Texas returns this Saturday, so there is lots to do. His birthday is the 29th and he flies out the day before. I’m going to try my hand at a red velvet cake, make a pan of his favorite food and maybe even some deviled eggs. I’m also going to try to hold out giving him his gifts the moment he gets home.
It’s a good one.

The love shack looking up through the fog. Down in front is the fishing shack that two little old ladies built. Texas is stabilizing, putting on new siding and windows, and doing a new roof.
If you notice, the roof is now at two different levels and he wants to make it a regular roof. I’m aftaid it will lose some of it’s rustic charm.
Although it is going to make a nice exercise room and dying place. It has a stove, counters and a sink. Woot!
Yes, the hill is that steep. We’re formulating a plan to tier it so you don’t have a heart attack walking back up it.
